About GTA4.TV

GTA4.TV is one of the biggest and longest running GTA 4 fan sites on the net. We're officially recognised by the Rockstar Games web ring and we've been providing rumors, news and guides to the GTA community since 2006.

GTA4.TV is an independent Grand Theft Auto publication dedicated primarily to Grand Theft Auto IV.

Launched in December, 2006, the site covers the latest GTA IV news, official announcements, trailers, screenshots, characters, locations, gameplay information, music and other developments surrounding the game.

Alongside breaking news, GTA4.TV publishes original research, analysis and detailed reference content intended to document Grand Theft Auto IV before and after its release.

Our coverage

GTA4.TV covers information from Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive as well as interviews, financial reports, public records, platform stores and other relevant sources.

We also investigate publicly accessible websites, documents and databases to uncover information that may not yet have received wider coverage.

When reporting information discovered by another publication, journalist or member of the Grand Theft Auto community, we aim to identify and credit the original source.

Rumours, reports and speculation are clearly distinguished from information officially confirmed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.

Who runs GTA4.TV?

GTA4.TV was founded by Simon 'Psy' Elliott, a web developer and long-time Grand Theft Auto fan who has been creating and contributing to GTA websites since the early 2000s.

Simon previously worked as a Web Developer at Rockstar North between 2012 and 2014, primarily working on the Rockstar Games Social Club website during the development and launch of Grand Theft Auto V.

GTA4.TV is recognised by Rockstar Games as a Grand Theft Auto community website and may occasionally receive press materials, news, announcements or other communications directly from Rockstar Games. Receiving information or materials directly from Rockstar does not give Rockstar editorial control over GTA4.TV or determine how we cover the company or its games.

More About Us

GTA4.TV is a fansite for Rockstar Game's world famous franchise Grand Theft Auto. This specific website is based solely around Grand Theft Auto IV and its two additional add on games, The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony, and contains all information and images which are available for the games.

The website originally started as a smaller splash website and production began on that on October 30th, 2006. The splash website was then released on December 13, 2006. During the time this splash site was up and running, work was on going behind the scenes for the full website, which after 6 months in the making, was released on August 23rd, 2007.

In June 2025 the website was redeveloped and merged into the iGrandTheftAuto system, helping to bring the network websites closer together with shared content, images and features.

Stay tuned to GTA4.TV for everything Grand Theft Auto 4!
