i noticed that the HUD is sorta bright... am i safe to assume that perhaps it's flashing since there's 4 stars? R* took a screeny while it was flashing? that's sorta cool if it does do that... it's a good reminder to GTFOutta there!!

Perhaps this is the ZONE of his criminal net.
It's already been mentioned a few times, and quite obviously,
in this shot he is far from exiting that police net.
It seems to be light blue, rather than flashing.
The in-game map probably reveals a huge radius in light blue.

I actually like the gun icons.....

GTAGaming removed the shot in the above link, for some reason.....

The map is semi-transparent. If you look at the street you can see how the dark/blue and light/white match up.

So the brightness of the street makes the whole bottom of the map look white while the top is still blue because the street is darker.

hehe, I love 'em all! The gun icon looks great to me... doesn't need to be photorealistic, it's grey, which is more contemporary and it doesn't take the focus from the screen away.

Also, I can't recall from past games, but I guess now the wanted stars start from right to left. (will pop in SA to see if this was the case here too)

Also, in the screen from gtaItaly, looks he's just committing the crime. (well, blowing shit up will get you there...) You can nicely see the search radius growing and sweeping across the map. Wanted star is a bit more black but not lit yet... very nice!
